The National Service Training Programme, or Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) was first started in December 2003, with much uncertainties and doubts from parents of chosen candidates. Relevations done by the author in this book based on his own experience had clearly shown that the rationale for National Service to bond the youth of Malaysia together and create a Malaysian nation is achieved, amid much criticism by various parties. The author advised future NS trainees to enjoy the 3-month training and take this once-in-a-lifetime experience as an opportunity to broaden their horizons. Heart-felt experiences rendered by the author will serve as a preparation tool to future trainees and a good guide to all readers regarding this programme.
